Guide to the “Fiscal Cliff”

These days it is difficult to escape the new reports regarding the negotiations over the “fiscal cliff.”  If are you interested in learning a little more about the issue, there are several resources that can help.  For introductory information on the topic, try the Fiscal Cliff Q&A from the Washington Post as well as the timeline from the Bipartisan Policy Center.  For more detailed data on the topic, check out the Fiscal Cliff Analysis from the Tax Policy Center or the Congressional Budget Office Budget website.  The calculator from the Tax Policy Center will also help you determine how the fiscal cliff may affect you.  Finally, if you want to create your own plan to solve the problem, take a look at the Budget Puzzle from the New York Times.
